MATERIALS

Red print: 4˝ × 7˝ piece

Medium pink print: 8˝ × 8˝ square

Light pink print: 6˝ × 6˝ square

Cream solid: 10˝ × 10˝ square

CUTTING

Prepare a template from pattern P (pullout).

RED

Cut 3 squares 2˝ × 2˝.

Cut 1 piece ¾˝ × 6˝.

Cut 2 pieces ¾˝ × 1½˝.

MEDIUM PINK

Cut 2 squares 3⅜˝ × 3⅜˝. Cut once on the diagonal. You will have 1 leftover triangle if you are making 1 block.

Cut 2 using Template P.

LIGHT PINK

Cut 2 squares 2½˝ × 2½˝. Cut twice on the diagonal. You will have 2 leftover triangles if you are making 1 block.

CREAM

Cut 1 square 4˝ × 4˝.

Cut 2 squares 2½˝ × 2½˝. Cut twice on the diagonal. You will have 2 leftover triangles if you are making 1 block.

Cut 3 squares 1¾˝ × 1¾˝.

Cut 2 rectangles 1½˝ × 3˝.

FRAMING STRIPS

Light green: Use 4 strips 2˝ × 8½˝ from those already cut if you are making The Anniversary Sampler Quilt. For any of the other quilts, please see their specific cutting instructions.

MAKE THE BLOCK

Seam allowances are ¼˝ unless otherwise noted. Press all seams in the direction of the arrows indicated in the diagrams.
